Dr Amanda Yao
BMed/MD (UNSW), FRACGP
Dr Amanda is a specialist GP who has established her medical practice in Roseville, Sydney. Her practice is located in Hill Street Health Hub.
She completed her medical degree in UNSW and then did her internship and residency at Royal North Shore & Ryde Hospital. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Amanda is a caring and approachable GP who enjoys the variety of general practice and the opportunity to care for people from all walks of life.
Dr Amanda has a particular interest in women’s and children’s health and finds great reward in supporting women and families through different life stages. Dr Amanda is currently undergoing accreditation in the Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC) / Possums approach, to better support parents with infant settling and feeding. As a mum herself, she understands the joys and challenges of parenthood and enjoys working closely with young families.
Outside of work Dr Amanda enjoys spending time with her young family, reading fiction, keeping active, and trying out new recipes.
